Blazek glass files won the Golden Crystal prize at Silicium Bohemica in 1998. Beginning in August 2003, all genuine Blazek glass files carry a holographic label with the Blazek trademark, which confirms that the product is genuine.

Blazek glass nail files are made from flat glass (FLOAT type), which is absolutely safe. After the grinding surface is etched, files are washed four times so that the resulting glass product contains no additions or impurities and is absolutely safe. The glass nail file is thermally hardened, which increases its strength, durability and breakage resistance. Simulated durability tests on these files have proven their extraordinary durability. All Blazek files are made of heat-hardened glass; though they are not completely unbreakable, their damage resistance is high. The heat-hardened flat glass can be disinfected with various cleaning agents and can even be sterilized using hot steam.
